Leadership and Executive Coaching

I work with high-performing professionals and emerging leaders who are navigating pressure, complexity, and consequential transitions in their work and lives.

I see coaching as a process of deepening awareness and expanding agency. When people are supported to see clearly what matters to them, what holds them back, and what drives them, they begin to experience themselves not as constrained by circumstances, but as capable of making meaningful choices. From there, new possibilities for action, authentic leadership, and meaningful success emerge.

Hi, I'm

Gigi

My work is grounded in a simple but rigorous belief: Self-awareness gives us the agency to change.

From Autopilot to Authentic Leadership

Changing how we show up (for ourselves and others) does not require more discipline, more focus, or more pressure. It requires building awareness, intention, and redirection.

When we truly understand ourselves and our inner maps, something extraordinary happens: we can make clear decisions to transform what once felt stuck, unsatisfying, inauthentic, or unsustainable and redirect ourselves and our communities toward meaningful change and growth. My role as leadership coach is to support clients in this process.

International Life & Work

I have lived and worked in the UK, Germany, the US and now live in Canada. I speak English, German, and Turkish fluently and French enough to get by. Working with people from different cultural backgrounds and understanding the challenges of leadership in multicultural environments are some of my core strengths.

My approach...

...is collaborative and grounded in respect and curiosity. Clients are not “fixed”—they are supported in thinking more clearly, seeing themselves more fully, making intentional choices about how they want to show up for themselves and others, and thereby leading with more authenticity, clarity, and integrity.

As a trained researcher with a PhD in Political Science, my work is grounded in neuro-scientific, psychological, political, philosophical, and economic research about how humans think, feel, work, compete, struggle, thrive, and collaborate within organizations and communities. I value clarity, depth, and substance over temporary feel-good fixes.

I served in senior leadership roles in politics, co-founded a social enterprise, have worked as a researcher and lecturer, and am currently completing an ICF-accredited Leadership and Performance Coaching Certification program at Brown University in collaboration with ACT.

Organizational Leadership

Leading in today’s world has become increasingly complex, fast-paced, and international. Incentives are such that organizations are tempted to focus on deliverables and speed; on outcomes first, and process second. The problem: managers don't automatically make leaders.

Managers are oftentimes not given the support to develop the emotional, interpersonal, and intercultural skills that it takes to lead to the highest of their capacity.

But here is the thing: exceptional leaders drive more organizational loyalty and efficiency, which in turn increases overall success. We just need to invest in people. Not only does that do right by them - it gets results, too.

The Ripple Effect

Importantly, investing in exceptional leadership pays off more than just once. To invest in people to grow into more authentic and effective leaders not only helps them reach their targets, it also fosters an environment in which their teams can do the same. Exceptional leadership has a ripple effect for organizations and beyond that, our communities. Thriving organizations are recognizing this shift. If you or your orgnization are, too: let's work together.

Common Themes In My Work Include

  • leadership development and presence
  • decision-making under complex circumstances
  • career, role, and identity transitions
  • authentic communication and influence
  • managing neurodiversity and intersectional discrimination
  • managing overwhelm and competing professional and personal demands
  • values-based leadership and ethical decision-making
